Background:
Head of Muir School is a non-denominational state school. It is an attractive, uniquely designed building all on one level with facilities for physically disabled people. The school opened its doors in 1978. It is situated on the western side of Denny in the heart of Central Scotland mid way between Falkirk and Stirling. In addition to the bright learning areas there is an information area, consisting of a computer suite and a library. Arts and crafts, drama and music all have dedicated areas. There is also a large multi-purpose hall. The school offers a selection of after-school activities. These include football club, Scottish country dancing, basketball club and cycling proficiency training.
